ECO meeting kicks off in Islamabad


Tehran (ISNA) – The 22nd meeting of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Council of Foreign Ministers kicked off in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Foreign ministers and advisers from ten different countries such as Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan are participating in Tuesday’s meeting.

The13th summit of the ECO heads of states to be held Wednesday. Islamabad Declaration and new ECO Vision 2025 would also be adapted at this meeting.

It is a two-day meeting which is holding in Islamabad and Iran handed over the presidency of these meetings to Pakistan.
