“Life and a Day” wins Tous Ecrans best award

TEHRAN (ISNA) - Iranian film “Life and a Day” directed by Saeed Roostaee succeeded to receive the festival’s best award at the Geneva International Film Festival Tous Ecrans

 22nd edition of Geneva International Film Festival Tous Ecrans wrapped up Saturday night, announcing Iran as the best film screened to over 30’000 spectators.

“Life and a Day”, competing with movies from France, Denmark, Argentina, and Hong Kong won several awards at Fajr International Film Festival.

The film narrates the story of a family preparing a wedding ceremony, but the situation gets complicated and tough due to some incidents.

As a place where all genres and disciplines meet, Geneva International Film Festival Tous Ecrans fosters an attitude of celebration and experimentation. Five competitive sections enforce the discovery of new talents there, which motivates new filmmakers to shine.
