Iran takes part in 68th Frankfurt book fair


TEHRAN (ISNA) - Iran participates in the 68th Frankfurt Book Fair kicked off today by presence of over 70 countries. The event hosts 19 Iranian publications for adults and children in a group pavilion.

According to the reports released by Iran's Cultural Fairs Institute, special pavilion has been assigned for Iran to display its latest publications.

Thousands of publishing companies from all over the world have gathered at the annual cultural event for publishing rights negotiation and communication. It will be a forum to exchange creative contents and act as a think tank for innovative business models in culture and creative industry.

Iran has attended the event for more than 10 years aiming to introduce the country’s innovation and creativity through cultural products to the world countries.

Director of the Sacred Defense Publishers’ Association had earlier announced that a total of 25 book titles on sacred defense will be displayed in five different languages at the 68th Frankfurt Book Fair.

Well-known artists from Iran and world would deliver speech in Iran’s pavilions during the 5-day event.
