China, biggest Iranian trade partner

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran-China non-oil trade hit 13 billion dollars in the first 10 months of Iranian calendar year, started on March 21.

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran-China non-oil trade hit 13 billion dollars in the first 10 months of Iranian calendar year, started on March 21.

Based on a report released by Iran's Customs, Iran's imports from China totaled 7.3 billion dollars and its exports reached 5.9 billion dollars. Iran's exports to China rose by 34.47 percent.

China was the biggest market of Iran's exports in 10 months. China's share of Iranian non-oil exports totaled 23.37 percent, while Iran received 19.57 percent of Chinese exported products.

China has been Iran's largest trade partner except in oil and gas fields, with 13 billion dollars of bilateral trade.

Iron ore, methanol, propane, polyethylene, styrene, butane, ethylene-glycol, paraxylene, chrome stone, marble, oil and mineral seals, purified cupper were main Iranian exports to China.

Railroad and subway locomotives parts, oil and gas pipelines, LCD and LED modules, car parts, polystyrene, banana and cars were most Iran's imports from China.

Iran and China agreed to build a joint industrial city. Iran also plans to hold industries fair in China. The volume of mutual trading between the two countries is expected to hit 80 billion dollars in 2015.
