Iran, UK FMs to meet in New York

Tehran (ISNA) - Newly-appointed British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss is expected to meet with her Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdollahin on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) meeting in New York.

Liz Truss and Hossein Amir Abdollahin will met in New York, discussing the release of dual national detainees who were imprisoned in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran’s nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and Iran’s return to nuclear commitments are the other topics that would be discussed between Iranian and British foreign ministers on the sidelines of the UNGA meeting.
