Five Iranian films in Pune International Film Festival

Tehran (ISNA) - The 15th edition of the Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) has invited five new Iranian films to attend in this event.

Five Iranian films including “Malaria”, “Daughter”, “Parting”, “Duet” and “Valderrama” have been added to the World Cinema section of the Pune International Film Festival in India.

Films from 12 countries have made to the final 14 in the world competition section of the 15th Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) and “Daughter” is Iran’s representative in this section.

The other four films would be screened at the festival, which organizes the eight-day festival every year.

The selection committee went through 1,100 films, sent by 95 countries, to whittle down the selection to 14. Among these entries, over 225 films would be screened at the festival.
