Iran's success in the microsatellites industry

ماهواره

Tehran (ISNA) - The head of Iran's National Space Center Manouchehr Manteghi announced that the country has a good position in the microsatellites industry.

"The issue of microsatellites is not new to Iran," said Manouchehr Manteghi, adding that currently 6 universities are working professionally on satellite projects.

Pointing that the small satellites can do the work of larger satellites, Manteghi said, "We can get the same result of a 7.2 tons satellite from the network of 24 satellites of 100kg".

"The prospect of the world in the next two decades is moving forward so that people can have personal satellites and control them with their mobile phones," Manteghi said.
