Reopening Iran’s Hajj Office in Saudi Arabia

مناسک حج

Tehran (ISNA) – Two weeks after Iranian pilgrims arrived in Saudi Arabia to attend the Hajj rituals, Iran’s Hajj Office in the Kingdom was reopened with the participation of the head of Iran's Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Hamid Mohammadi.

The Iranian office was closed two years ago following the suspension of diplomatic relations between Tehran and Riyadh and its sign was removed without notice to Iranian officials.

So far, 23,000 Iranian pilgrims have been sent to the Hajj pilgrimage this year, which is expected to reach 86,500 pilgrims.
