Bahraini officials accused Iran of interfering in the internal affairs of Bahrain.
Ghasemi refuted these allegations as unfounded and said: “Bahraini rulers who are unable to solve the internal affairs and react properly to civil and peaceful requests of their people once in a while attribute protests of their citizens to Iran. Obviously projection is a way of all oppressive regimes which have problem with their people. This way would never be helped to solve the crises”.
“I recommend to Bahraini government to treat its people with honesty, fairness, and ethics rather than resorting to outdated methods and insist on the security approach,” he added.
